Ham Steak with Peach Picante Sauce

Ingredients

  • * 4 Cook's® Bone-in Ham Steak (about 1 pound each)
  • * 6 fresh peaches, pealed, chopped (about 4 cups)
  • * Dash of ground black pepper
  • * Dash of salt
  • * 1/8 teaspoon five-spice powder
  • * 1 serrano chile, finely chopped (about 1-1/4 teaspoons)
  • * 1 tablespoon chopped fresh cilantro
  • * 2 tablespoons peach-flavored liqueur (about 1 ounce)
  • * Juice from 1 medium lime (about 3 tablespoons)
  • * 1/2 cup finely chopped red onion

Preparation

  1. Combine peaches, onions, lime juice, liqueur, cilantro, chiles, five-spice powder, salt and pepper in medium bowl. Cover.
  2. Refrigerate at least 1 hour to allow flavors to blend.
  3. Cook ham according to package directions. Serve with the picante sauce.
